Baseball is much than just a sport in Boston. The feisty means a lot to the many generations of families who grew up cheering for the vehement Sox. In six years they win 4 championships between 1912 and 1918. On December 26th, 1919, Harry Frazee, the possessor of the red sox at the time, sold Babe Ruth, their best player, to the Yankees for coin to finance a Broadway play.
